I tried to block in values first but I was struggling with it a lot while trying to figure out design. I don't really like it but i'll keep making more.
Is that same wagon interior sketch I saw the other day? or different. If it is same one you might lost all the lay in pencil lines. if it's different one, you need more ,smaller details. I don't think composition is working that well in this one. It took me while to spot that blonde hair. his body is almost lost. Left side tree trunk value and right side are almost same.
